    sponson adjustment

Hi I just picked up a 13 rxtx and wanted to adjust the sponsons to race setting. The seadoo manual says I neeed to discard the screws and buy new ones..why is this?? Can I use lock tight on the old ones? Where online can I purchase these?

I reused mine 4 or 5 times and never seen any issues? Seems a bit strange that they would need replacing? Is this an error in the manual?

Do not replace. A little blue loctite and go. I'll I had in my house was red, so I put on red. I don't plan on moving them up...ever. Drop those puppies down and hold on.

Hang on alright! I didnt like them all the way down, not that it cornered harder, just that it was like all or nothing. I have the rivas set on second lowest, which is in between OEM sport and race settings.

yeah when i bought my ski, i put them down to race spot straight away. After 40 + hours and over a season of racing, i tried them back to the middle, and its actually easier to keep the power on! u can still corner on a dime if u turn hard, but can power thru sweepers much easier with more stability
