    Erratic boost........

Hey guys, wondering if you can possibly give some insight on a problem I'm having. My boost is low and erratic out of the hole, once I'm up and going it revs out and the boost gauge (factory) is pegged. It's only from down low. Sometimes half boost sometimes 3/4 then it pressurizes and goes. Sometimes there is a delay and then the boost will hit full. Can it be the tune? It ran fine for a few hours and and then this came out of nowhere. Seems like the throttle body is closing almost like the torque limiter is kicking in. R&d is scratching their head also

    HELP! I'm going nuts.

Check the I/C sounds like a leaker.

I have pulled it off and found no evidence of water inside the intake tract nothing in the throttle body hose.

Are there any threads explaining how to do this? Thanks

its ez, pump air in where the water usually goes and IMO about 30-40 psi
then fill the part were the air usually goes with water and if you see bubbles you have a leak

Sounds easy enough. But wouldn't I loose boost and rpm if I had a leaking IC? It's only from low rpm? It revs out fine and hits top rpm EVERY time. Seems like the throttle blade is being closed and opened. So lost with this.

Seeing how boost is locked to engine RPM if the clutches in the charger are set to slip correctly it would lead to possibly a mapping problem with the reflash. How are you monitoring boost? Check the hoses for leaks, engine mounts (engine could be shifting pulling on the hoses. What do your WOT RPMs look like, are they low?

Stock boost gauge, hoses are tight, mounts are good, max rpms are 8250 same as always. You can feel the power loss and the stock gauge does not max out.

Flash back to stock and see if it clears it up.
