    B&w stow n go..

Hey all, I was wondering... I recently bought one of these for my non lifted 4 runner. I lifted the truck (as I said I would not)and added bigger rubber.. now my toys (jet ski and pop up trailer) tow at a upward angle.. it's not a mind blowing angle.. I'm curious if I should drop $160 for another B&W with more of a drop. I cant guarantee I can sell the previous one to off set some of the money.. I believe safety is first and foremost. is this an issue? or am I making a big deal out of nothing. The truck went up 3" but with heavy duty after market bumpers I'm sure that I don't sit at the true 3"anymore.. thanks for any and all replies..

Trailer frame should be close to level when towing. That is with normal/full load on the trailer and in the truck, ready to roll.

Tongue slightly high is OK, but having the trailer at a significant up angle can create weird handling at speed or during sudden evasive manoeuvres or hard braking from speed.

Trailer should never be tongue low when towing, can become unstable.

    Hey guys,
Thanks for the replies.. It's expensive but I think I'd rather go with another b&w hitch.. I just have to apply the formula to figure out which one I need. I have had no problems with the one I own now.. so I think I'll stick with them. a few other people said the trailer should be level as well.. this is something I should not have asked I already knew the answer.. I was just being cheap.
thanks for allowing me to waste your time.

this is what I am going to go with.. thanks Ziggy

Here are the B&W on Amazon. Sorry to keep pushing Amazon, but ever since we discovered that you can get just about anything there--at a better price than just about anywhere else--we've been using them. Got most of our accessories for the WaveRunners there.

    Hey Dudes,
I've used Amazon for a bunch of things too. Sadly, I am still a "use the local guy first" then if I cant get satisfaction then it's greed bay Amazon is normally my 3rd choice.. I've ordered it and I should have it by Saturday.. the shop has a warehouse and they go pick it up and I go to the shop and off I go..
    thanks again!
