About to buy a new ski, help me decide!
Going through some big changes in my life and decided to treat myself. Started when I put a hole through #2 piston on my waveraider from being stupid and getting sick of constantly working on my gpr. I have narrowed it down to the following:
Seadoo RXPX 260
I've always been a yamaha fan and feel they are generally more reliable. I'm leaning towards the FZS. As I understand it is identical to the FZR save for the seat and boarding step. Figured it would be more versatile than a straight 2 seater as I have a tube I would like to tow from time to time. The RXPX has me almost won looks wise but its a 2 seater. I'm 6'1" 240 lbs and from what I've been reading it is tight for bigger riders. I don't really like the looks of the RXTX3 seater. I ride pretty aggressively. I am interested in both top speed and handling. I also like to wave jump. I'm about to put a down payment on something so any suggestions would be appreciated.

Sounds like you may have answered your own question. You have a need for a 3 seater for towing and don't like the looks of the RXTX. To me that means I see an FZS in your future.

Just put a deposit on a 2013 FZS in deep blue. Should have it by Saturday. Can't wait!

Good choice; the nice thing about the Yamaha is you can get a full 5 year warranty, whereas last time I checked Sea-Doo will only give you 4 years total in my state. Here's my review on the FZS...
