A checkist for beginners for all skis...
Wanted to start this thread as I was out with a friend who just bought a new Seadoo GTX and though riding for 10 hrs got to the launch with boat off the trailer now in the water...WITHOUT ANY KEYS...so after 90 mins round trip back home and back brought both keys but I found out later left the extra set in the car...so out on the water if he were to lose that one set on him.....

Like to add if its a 2 stroke to carry extra spark plugs and spark plug wrench as they can be noted to foul quickly if your carburetor needs adjustment and 2 stroke oil filled to top if your oil injection... or carrying a 16 ounce bottle of 2 stroke oil if your premixed and plan on filling up on the water...

Very important. A small pharmacy kit!! If you go exploring might be handful. I would suggest a cortisone injection as well...someone might be allergic to some kind of bite ( someone I knew died after a bee bite ....he was allergic and didn't know) but all of the above in case you decide to go exploring..... I know that's not releavant to a pwc check list but I think is worth mentioning

I've taken to wearing a helmet when I'm riding. Felt strange at first but now it feels strange if I leave it at home.....

Hi "JetSkiDave", I often wish I had made it to NJ, last year to get your old ski ....O-well, I did buy an 08 GP1300R & have raced it in CC IJSBA region 9, I have No Holeshot what-so-ever! have to start from back & work my way up ... only 6 laps to do it. Top End is still right @ 69 GPS, cant' seem to get more with the Riva Stage 2, have not touched the engine yet only 35 hours total on ski. Any sugestions ?

A funnel for two strokes, since on my ski, for example, the filler cap is on vertical.
