Yes. Ski leaps from the hole. ZERO cavitation.

Did you have any trouble seating the pump housing with the new seal? I tried it, but the housing did not seem to want to go in all the way (i.e. not much threads showing on the 4 mounting bolts). Does it require a lot of effort?

I had to apply a little pressure to get it to seat properly. I just used a cross pattern to tighten down. It really seats nicely and would highly recommend it to anyone having cavitation issues.

It was definitely much tighter than the factory piece. I just pushed it in manually as far as I could. Then rocked the pump towards each stud and started each nut with a few turns each, then I slowly tightened each nut in a cross pattern until it was seated, wasn't difficult at all. The tight fit is what you want. Hope this helps.
