Quick fxho fuel level / pump question

My fuel level is not working so I'm going to take my fuel pump out this weekend a few weeks ago someone on another forum told me I need to move my tank to get the fuel pump out is this correct or can I remove the pump without moving the petrol/gas tank

You should not have to move tank......don't know if the FZ is different than the FX.....I didn't have to move my fuel tank

Is it a straight forward job to take the pump out ? Is it just push the fuel line pipe to be able to pull it off the two connector blocks come off take the water pipe off then undo all the bolts . The will the pump lift out hassle free or is it harder than it sounds to get the pump out
