96 SPX Oil Line
After returning from a weekend away, came home to a 96 spx with a hull coated with oil. Upon further investigation I held an oil line in my hand.....not good.
Seems someone pounded the snot out of the ski. That I can fix, it was family! Now for the interesting part. In the manual it looks like I am missing the "top"
grommet that allows the oil line to snap into the bottom of the oil tank. How do I remove the oil tank and check inside it for the grommet?

If it's anything like my 96 XPs, you should be able to look at the tank and figure out what all needs to come apart to remove it.
The more important thing at this point is whether or not the ski was run with no oil. I'm assuming that your ski is oil injected and not converted to premix. If it's oil injected, you weren't getting any oil to the cylinders. A compression check is in order.

There was oil in the line into the engine. I will do the compression check after I get the oil line figured out. I can turn it over, I did check that already with no spark.
