Just picked up a new FZS

Put a hole through #2 piston in my Waveraider last week, so I got pissed off and decided to buy a new ski. Today I took home a brand new 2013 Yamaha FZS. Took it out for a quick test ride immediately and am very impressed. Very smooth power delivery. Tons of torque. Handling in a totally different league than either my GPR or Waveraider, even though its a much bigger ski. I didn't beat on it too much as I want to be easy on the motor for a few hours but I hit an indicated 65mph easily with 3/4 throttle. Hoping the weather holds tomorrow so I can get some more seat time in this beast. And no its not staying on that single trailer. I have to move my waveraider off my double and space the bunks out for the fzs.

Will beat everyone to the punch and say get the R&D intake grate as first mod. Have one and makes the ski feel more planted.

Copy that; get the R&D grate on there to avoid getting bucked and/or injured.
There is a sticky on this...

Yea I' going to order one this week as well as a pump seal kit. I read the whole thread on the bucking issue, but there seems to be no definite reason/condition under where it happens that I could get from it.
