    Bob,
It's a " Factory Pipe Type 8 SuperJet Dry pipe " that someone cut off the last piece of pipe on. If it were a Blaster, it would exit differently. You can see where your pipe would have continued on and grabbed the little tab (brace) that's left there and exited down. Plus the stinger section looks rough cut on yours.

    Bob,
The guys on X-H2O say it's a good pipe for full-on race motors, timing, compression, porting, etc.

    From Factory Pipe:

701 SuperJet Type 8 Dry Pipe

The new Factory Pipe Type 8 SuperJet system was designed in collaboration with Rius Racing specifically for serious race engines. The high angle tapers create stronger return waves that high output engines require for peak performance. Depending on your setup, the new Type 8 system can boost peak engine output to as much as 140 horsepower on your superstock boat as well as adding much more torque for a better hole shot and more buoy to buoy power. The Type 8 system includes a high flow flat draft manifold, high angle taper chamber body, illustrated instructions and all required installation hardware.. $800.00

    Steve,
It's a SuperJet pipe used on the Octane. Eric Malone competed in 2002 with this pipe on an Octane. Coming from DeLaughter, I'm sure it was probably used in a Polaris.
