    Help Reviving a 95 xp

My brother gave me his 95 xp 2-3 years ago. He had bought a new ski but kept the xp cranked now and then. It hasn't been cranked since i got it but i can spin it over by hand. The two front motor mounts are broken and i just got replacements but haven't put them in yet. The rear of the engine won't lift. The vts boot leaked while he was still using the xp and ruined the vts motor so he put it in the sweet spot and rode it that way till buying the new ski. Thanks for any help.

    My questions are:

    1. Can i just replace the mounts one at a time and arrange the shims as they are now or do i still need to have engine aligned after mount replacement?

    2. Should i look for a used vts or buy a new one? And, should i get the vts boot upgrade from osd parts?

    3. Anything else i should replace while i'm getting it back going? Wear ring etc?

I would have the alignment checked, just as a piece of mind....

What is OSD???? I was not aware they made an upgraded VTS boot????

If you can get a guaranteed good vts, then save the money and get it off ebay..

Certainly would check the wear ring, maybe replace the fuel lines and have the carbs rebuilt since it has been sitting....

Thanks, i'll check the wear ring and either clean or rebuild the carbs. My brother said that he always turned the gas off and ran it till it died when he cranked it so maybe it wont be gummed up. Here is the vts kit.

Thanks, i'll check the wear ring. He said he always turned the gas off and ran it till it died so hopefully it wont be gummed up. I'll check it and see what the inside of the carbs look like. Here is the vts kit.
