2004 RXP Issue
I had a issue this weekend and was hoping I might get some ideas on what was the cause/issue. I will try and make this short. Took it out for the first time this summer, it was winterized like normal, stored in the garage, changed the oil- Amsoil Marine stuff, nothing different. It has metal washers with not many hours on it. Took it out and the wife was riding on it first while I park the truck when she says: it sounds different!! Thought that was odd bc I didn't think she knew what it should sound like. So I take it out and it wouldn't go over 40 mph. No codes or engine lights came on, it just had no power. The exhaust seemed like it was choking with water almost. It sounded very weak and muffled. No leaks inside the hull, no cavitation. So I ran it like this for 5 mins and it started to get better and better with each run. Finally it bogged down almost like getting ready to give a big cough and it took off, ran fine the rest of the day. Thoughts, ideas? Im stumped!!

Fouled plugs that cleaned out as you rode it. The spark plugs on these things need to be changed before the first ride every season.
Then tend to foul out when sitting up all winter.... especially if winterized with fogging oil
