RXP bilge pump install
Where are you guys mounting a bilge pump, on an RXP? with the thru-hull and I/C, it is real tight in the back of the ski. I am trying to find a good place. Anybody have pics or suggestions?

LITERALLY>.. i am in the garage with my laptop and bilge pump trying to find the best spot myself also. between the exhaust, the riva rear intake, intercooler, and whatever other crap, it's a tight squeeze
can't wait to get rid of the closed loop cooling, it's gonna free up so much extra space with these bulky coolant lines all over the place
where are you putting your bilge outlet? next to the tow ring in the back?

I think im gona put mine right by where the waterbox sits but further back since its pretty low in that spot and im gona put the outlet right by the rear tow hook. Also what do u guys think about disconecting and blocking off the bailer system ? or just leave it in there for ****s and giggles anyway

my bialer system is all gone.. the nozzles are ripped out of the venturi and everything is blocked off
i was thinking the same spot that's a surface pretty far back next to the waterbox... few inches forward of the drain plug.

Sounds good, I will have to check that spot out when I swap my waterbox for the modded one. Just briefly looking around, I was thinking on the left side of the front motor mount, but I really did not like that spot. Not sure where I want to put the thru hull either, but the tow hook area sounds good. I was just thinking if I could do it up front somewhere so I could see if water starts coming out. Hopefully that will never be the case....

damn that 500 GPH pump just became 250 gph
i'd run the main line as short as possible, that's only way u'll get max flow out of that little bilge pump in an emergency.
run a 1/4" bypass line off the bilge pump to the front so u can see if you get a little water dribbling out of the bypass rather than running the important main exit line 8 feet away from the pump

Great place for the switch and for the pump itself. That is definately where mine is going.
That is a great idea for the bypass......Great idea!
At least even at 250 he has one going...no sinking feelings
Have I ever mentioned how much I love this place...
