    head torque question

    i read alot on the forum

    and alot of people said

    30lbs after 60 lbs and for the final its between 85 and 95 lbs of torque

    but brp said 90 degree angle and 120 degre angle i think

    what is the best

    do what brp said or listen the people on the forum

    my ski rxt 215 stage 3 with supercharger et 137 + 4

    Now that said for OEM standards But i have no idea about "hopped" up motors

    I have the riva head gasket with oem stud what torque sequence do you propose

    If you are using the standard OEM bolts, do as the manual says and that is, follow the 90 degree then 120 degree after the initial set torque. The OEM bolts are torque to yield (stretch bolts) and react best to this. If you are using ARP studs then you should follow the stepped torque sequence up to your preferred final torque. That will be somewhere between 90 to 105ftlb's. What sort of head gasket you have does not change this.

    Wondering how this ski performs was it reliable with ET 137 are the stock internals good enough ET says my 08 RXT 215 has forged pistons & heavy duty rods already, but I am wondering about valve train, drive train etc I know it will need an external IC with rising rate fuel pressure and reflash ? Not sure about fuel pump or whats involved in rising rate just pressure reg ?
