2002 XP, where does the "cooling system drain hose" go.
I just replaced the engine in an 02' XP. The engine and a few parts were already removed and dissembled when I got the ski, so....There is a 3/8" hose connector on the right side crankcase, about 10" below the main water inlet. I'm pretty sure it had a clear hose on it, but it was not connected to anything when I got the ski.
Where does this go? I see no open fitting on the rear of the hull or on the exhaust system.

you might need to get the water circuit diagram of a shop manual.. (they are free to download on the internet, just google.. )
when i had pulled my motor, i actually had to come back, and blow compressed air through the lines to figure out which on was which..
.. if its the line i think you are describing, that comes off the side of the block, that line should go to the air ocmpressor silencer, which if you blow air through it, should come out of the thru-hull fitting at the back of the ski..

I've got the manual, it doesn't show the specific location.
Anyway, I found it, its very hidden below the exhaust hose, steering cable and other junk on the transom.
Thanks to all.
