    2010RXTX w/8375 vs 2012RXTX stock... very close?

Ok here we go, Im starting to get bothered by this! I have a 2010 RXTX with the following mods:

    Vtech 8375
    Fizzle intake
    R+D Grate
    No sound suppression
    Rideplate holes filled
15/22R prop (old prop not newer setback SRZ, bent myself to adjust RPM)
    Trim 1 bar above half

Raced buddies 2012 RXTX 3 times:

    1) Barely creeping away from him (won)
    2) He barely creeping from me (lost)
    3) Tied

I was turning 8240 RPM, he was 7800 he said.

Whats wrong with this picture? there should be a bigger difference then what I am seeing shouldnt there...

    I

switch skis with your friend and try the race again. A lot of races are won by the rider. After riding the 2 skis, you will know which 1 has the more power-- there are some faster than normal skis and slower than normal skis as well.

Slip is good, not worried as my RPM are there. We raced too end so rider shouldn't matter. Also, I maintain his ski so I know there are no hidden mods.

Forgot to mention I changed the nozzle when the smaller I believe 2011 version came out that was supposed to help speed. Adjusted rpm accordingly and currently at 8200. Prop has been adjusted about 4 times.
