    2012 rxt x stuffing

    At what speed will a 2012 rxt x stuff. I'm going to put a et 68-140 on and a 8800 tune got a r&d grate and 15/21 prop and don't know if I need pump relief and don't what to find out the hard way

    83-84 range typically, Every hull appears to be stuffing at different speeds tho.

    BTW, great combo. You'll love the outcome!

    AS Scott said 83+ seems to be the threshold. Install a transducer directly into the hull so you can measure tunnel pressure. Dyno Tune sells the transducer and square blue digital gauge. Anything over 50 lbs of tunnel pressure puts you in the pump stuffing zone. Add pumps reliefs as required. By the way, all the pump stuffs I have experienced on the S3 have been more like a sudden hop. No throwing you over the handle bars. Still sucks and needs to be eliminated but just be aware as you reach speed and tunnel pressure thresholds.

    Thanks for the info guys. do you think ill be in the 83mph+ (pump stuffing) range with that setup

    Keen to hear how you go with this. I'm about to play in this range with addition of 3rude and 15/22 to my sig. Looking at getting the pump relief kit of duke.
