Question what engine is that ? and how to leak test it - quickly

my 07 engine form RXT 215 blew so I bought complete used 4-tec engine with electronics , PROBABLY from 2006 GTI . Here are some pictures below. How can I tell which model that? Previous owner does not realty know. He crashed sea doo 2 years ago, someone removed motor and that is end of the story. How can I rotate it to see if timing is right ? or leak test it ? Can I do it without putting it inside the hull and connecting all wires/cables ? Click image for larger version.

I checked and BLOCK and HEAD is same as my 215RXT,
PTO is different, FLYWHEEL different, Air INTAKE manifold is different, oil separator same, water pump same.

even if I look at part numbers of engine BLOCK, and head, PART NUMBERS match. I am not sure if valves are same. but block is complete and it was running before removal as said by seller, SO I want to check if engine is in fact rotating and valves keep pressure.

Well lets start with what you can do easy leak down test. Make sure each testing cylinder is in tdc . Take all plugs out and rotate crank so each cylinder testing is in tdc. Of course one at a time some of us can bump each cylinder by feel

that is a NON supercharged motor 130/155hp
and is not made to be SCed with higher compression weak cast pistons, not for SC motors

Thanks for all comments. In this case I can go another way: put that complete motor ( 2006 GTI into a 2007 HULL ) I have all ECU and cables . remove all RXT stickers and get GTI

I checked that piston part numbers are different between GTI and RXT , connecting rods are same.

Camshaft is different ( different part number )
Valves - both intake and exhaust are same.
