Keen to hear about the compressor mod, have you had the housing machined to suit? Who supplied the wheel?

Just came back from the lake after a quick test. First thing the acceleration is unbelievable!! Didn’t get the speed I was hoping for but she ran a solid 62mph. The prop needs re pitching or I’ll have to get a solas 17/31. She’s on the limiter at 1.1bar (16psi) boost. I don’t know how much more I can bend the stock prop. I already bend it 4mm down. As for the compressor wheel, it takes about half to 1 second longer to spool but I was able to make 1.6 bar (23psi) boost easily at 4500ft above sea level. I also had to change from a D02 nozzle to a D03 nozzle on the meth kit because I was starting to run lean at 1.3 bar (19psi). As for the DIY fuel cut defender, I was doing WOT for more than an hour and not even 1 alarm. BTW at 1.6 bar she’s boiling the pump big time!!!

This is how much everything was.

    Big ass intercooler: $130

    Silicone Pipes and fittings: $150

    Water Meth kit: $280

    Manual boost controller: $20

    Compressor Wheel upgrade: $150

    DIY fuel cut defender: $6

    Innovate MTX-L: $250

    Boost Gauge $30

    Total: $1016

Yes the compressor housing is machined to fit the bigger compressor. The wheel is 2mm wider at top and bottom and is 2.5 mm higher then the stock compressor wheel. The wheel was supplied by a local turbo repair shop.

So how do u have ur method kit set to operate? Is it boost activated ? Whats the mixture ur running ? What pressure pump r u using ?
16psi is the most I ever run these days with my mods turning a 15/31 prop that I had oversized .012" to close the gap in the pump .

I’m running a Devils own pump it is a 300psi pump. It is just an adjustable pressure switch not progressive one like yours. Pump comes on at 1 bar. Justin is your impellor a solas or oem? I mix my on meth 50/50 by weight. 16psi is more than enough power. I only had an hour to test would have loved to play around with the clamp voltage to see how the AFR was without the meth injection. All I need now is to sort out the impellor. I’m pretty happy with the results considering the altitude.

Its a OEM prop repitched by impros . I had their "the works" preformed to it . since Honda runs so much clearance I want to see how it would do with .004" clearance . tho its no longer .004..... It has only lost a little bit . I think after 40-50 hrs its opened up to .010 " think its mainly from jumping ..
I would like to see how ur does without meth also
Running ur pressure switch did it seem to bog or get really rich at any point . what ratio did u see at 16/18?

No bog whatsoever with the pressure switch, just incredible acceleration all the way to 6500rpm.I took a quick ride with the seat off and kept my hand on the intake plenum, it gets ice ice cold! I know the intercooler is overkill but it’s all I could get my hands on in deep dark Africa. AFR’s was in the 12’s all the time. At 19 psi it went in to the 13’s, that why I changed to a D03 nozzle just to check. With the D03 nozzle it fine above 19psi back in the low 12’s even dips into11's but its rich below that, like in the 10's. If I want to run the D03 nozzle I’ll have to make a PWM controller for the meth pump.
