I'm getting a new head
This is Franco Dettori's special "B kit" head, the same one Zapata uses, but it also has Mark Underwood's magic touch on it. Dettori CNC ports the intake side, but leaves the exhaust alone as he says they are making too much power as it is
Mark convinced me to let him port the exhaust side too.
Also notice there is no paint on the head. Dettori does this to allow the head to disipate heat better.
The intake valves are 4 grams lighter than stock and the exhaust valves are 7.5 grams lighter than stock. The lightweight retainers also save me 6.5 grams each. all the weight savings add up to 9000 rpm all day long.
This head will be going on the engine in the GPRXP.
