Question Is it possible to change 2008 throttle for one of the newer ones?

Hey guys! A couple of days ago I tested one of the new seadoo's and one thing I really loved is the new throttle (facing the front and much less resistance). I have a 2008 Wake Pro 215 and after a while of riding the thumb starts hurting because of the pressure I have to do to keep the throttle. So the question is, is it possible at all to replace the throttle I have for the one that comes on the newer sea-doo throttles? Probably the newer models have an electronic throttle and thus less resistance but was wondering if at all possible.

    Thanks!!!!
