I have a 13 rxp x. got some gas on the black plastics and it has faded. Is there a cleaner or something that will bring it back to life?

The stuff i use is a product called...Xerapol, plastic polish. It removes scratches from plastics (Acrylic) and plexiglass.
I just googled for a plastic polish and found this.
It`s like an ultra fine cutting compound and comes in a 50g / 1.76 oz tube. www.xerapol.com.

It used to be called back to black but this is what you guys want. It friggin rocks. Makes them look brand new.

    Meguiar's Ultimate Black

Also if you need polish use this.

PlastX Clear Plastic Cleaner & Polish

Both products are superb. Meguiars stuff is all I used on my ski and vehicles. I also use their car wash and wax.

If the OP is talking about the same plastics I am thinking the Meguiars stuff does not work, I tried. The Meguiars stuff works great on the black plastic like the older PX seat cowling, but on the newer PX, there is hard black shiney plastic up front that fads when hit with gasoline. I will try and snap a pic.

Try the PlastX then Troy. Should do it.

I made a glove hood look brand new with it.

Check my thread from back in the day.
