    2013 GTR rpm question.

Can anyone tell me what the wot RPM will be on my GTR after the 5hr mark "sport mode of course", and is that also computer limited? I was used to seeing about 8100 on my RXT's.

You should see around 8040 to 8060 WOT after 10 hours. The ECU limits the RPM till about 10 hours

I passed the 5 hr mark today. The manual says that it is only limited until that point. Right now I'm maxing out at 7760 RPM. Do you think it is limited further till the 10 hr mark as you suggested? I know you work on these things, so your input is greatly appreciated. The speedo says 65 " I know it's not accurate" I just included it to see if other GTRs are reading the same rpm and speedo indication as mine. I would really like to know what other GTR owners have experienced with this too if possible.
    Thanks

    my GTR is un-modded.

dont remember the RPM, but she tops out about 66/7, on a cool day, in cool water, pretty calm (3") water.
I'd say 64/5 is fair for an avg. top speed in less than prime conditions.

Is that on your speedo or GPS? My speedo said I was hitting 65 today on very smooth water "not glass ,but close" I had been riding for well over an hour...I wonder if it was just heat soaked causing my RPM's to be lower. I'm used to judging the health of my skis by max RPM. Not knowing if mine is right is making me paranoid. I hope Tiny is right about it being limited till 10 hours. It accelerates very hard through the midrange, and is quick out of the hole. The only way I can see a GTR barely hitting 65 is if it is computer limited to that, or if it has a lower pitched prop "which I'm guessing would account for the awesome midrange"

I was also wondering if it is different than the 2012 model in some way.

I don't believe there are any differences between '12 & '13's, other than country of origin.

I believe the speed is limited through the GPS based speedo on the boat, and the current speedos are pretty accurate.

Country of origin has changed "no longer Canada"?

I saw a thread by surferd15 that was very similar to this one. I PM'd him to what he came up with on his GTR.

I need to ride more and think less

When it cuts out, Do you think it's hitting the rev limiter?
    Is it stock?
