    super charger blown?

I just removed the hose from the super charger on my 2007 Sea Doo 150 Speedster that has 47 hours on it. I stuck my finger in the super charger opening and the fan/fins turn freely. Does this mean my super charger is blown? Will this result in a total engine rebuild? I feel sick.

Its blown but that does not by any means say you need to rebuild your engine. There's a big difference money and time wise between cleaning out clutch parts and inspecting the oil pumps as opposed to rebuilding the entire engine

I Pm'd with Jerry last night. I feel a little better now. I am going to pull the SC and see what pieces remain of the washers and then get it shipped off to him to rebuild and if i can locate the missing pieces in the front oil pump screen and inspect the rear pump too. I think the rebuild kits for the oil pumps are 124.00 piece. I found a local repair sea doo repair guy that will help me. I really don't want to pay thru the nose with a dealer. Trying to stay positive about it. Hopefully it's fixable...

It's fixable but its not easy or cheap.
Search the threads there are a lot of people that have had ceramic washers fail.
Motor needs to come out and be cleaned out and inspected for damage.

The amount of damage depends a lot on how long you ran it after the s/c took a dump...

How long did you run it??
