    Silver paint

The only problem I have had is with the silver paint on the glove box, when I removed the sticker, 3 little pieces came off with the sticker.

On Kristy's red ski, we removed the huge back decal. While she was cleaning off the glue, her cloth began to show a little red. On my blue ski, I removed my huge back decal also. I did exactly the same procedure as Kristy and no blue on my cloth at all.

So are we concluding that there is really NO problem with the RED paint???

Who came to that conclusion? When the red paint chips off with a fingernail, rubs off while being towed while using a factory cover designed for towing and apparently scuffs easily.....I'd say there IS a problem.

I removed the huge back decal. While I was cleaning off the glue, my cloth (actually a soft diaper) began to show a little red.

Here's what I know on mine.

    • The paint on the hood doesn't rub off with wax.
    • The red paint on the top deck does.
    • I scratched the paint with my fingernail while removing a safety sticker, on the side. It wasn't deep, but it gave me cause for concern.
    • I tried a little bit of goof off on a small area, and the rag turned bright red.
    • The black doesn't seem to be as bad, but I haven't spent time with it yet.
    • I've caused some scratches on the ski, that on any other ski would not have happened.... shoe marring, etc...
    • The paint LOOKS shiny, but it's too early to tell if it's going to fade.
    • I've kept it in the sun since bringing it home. It still rubs off with wax.

These are the EXACT same problems that mine is having.
