After rebuilding the engine I took off the oil injector to make it a pre-mix craft. I rebuilt the carbs. All fuels lines from the shut off switch to the carbs are dry. I have a tank full of pre-mix gas but the fuel line from the tank to the switch is gas. Should I blow that line clear and let it refill with premix? Or let that fuel go into the carbs?
Also when I rebuilt the engine I had the crankcase half of oil while I reassembled it but then drained it after it was all together. I really don't want to fire this thing up and smoke everything I just fixed.
Suggestions are appreciated.

Is there still a heavy film of 2-stroke oil inside the crankcase?
If yes, I would think that a dribble of oil down each carb while you are cranking it would be more than enough to lubricate things while the non-pre-mix gas is moving through. It will probably smoke a lot anyways if there is plenty of oil left over from your oil soaking the crank case.
If you decide to prime the engine with gasoline down the carb throats to make starting easier, just use a heavy pre-mix with oil. Should be plenty.
