sh%t up huh? Ran a 87.8mph sitting on the "front" of the seat neutral trim. Man you should have heard it making a pass down the bayou.
I'm gonna abandon this project for now, I have another I need to work on that should yield more gains

Well if I take the hood off, it would probably slow me down, I had a 4" hose from the front to a sealed box over the carbs. True ram air, not just cold air over the carbs. If setup right At 80mph+ you can almost build a positive pressure (boost) on the engine.

CAUTION ! If you have a true ram air which means you are forcing more air into the carbs than is being sucked in. The carbs will not pull fuel from the jets and the pressure will try to push the fuel back it the carbs and you will cause a lean condition doing damage to your engine!

True...thats one reason I decided to not go any further with this. It ran good on top, but was lean in the midrange. Could be made to work but not worth it for me. I believe it would be easier to setup on a fuel injection single piper.
