Anyone run R&D Pro Series Racing Intercooler Kit 612-18005?

Didn't see much on a search but I'm looking at the R&D Pro Series Racing Intercooler Kit 612-18005 versus the Riva Gen 2 powercooler. I kinda like the fact the R&D places the intercooler out of the way, but I'm unsure if the extra piping is an issue (saw it mentioned in an older post).

Would like to know also. Glen told me that the distance would not have any issues.

You don't want the $900 one. It's very small for its price as it was designed for a specific racing class that limits how much bigger your inter cooler can be versus stock. So Of the current available options its either this high dollar R&D or the slightly cheaper Riva Gen 2 powercooler.

See note on the $900 one:

The new R&D design is I.J.S.B.A. / A.P.B.A. Limited Class legal, complying with rule book regulating aftermarket intercooler size. The R&D Intercooler has been specifically designed, sized, and routed to also comply with the I.J.S.B.A.’s 25% rule.

I like the placement of R&D in hull and that it supports up to 600 hp, but, can't beat the maintenance factor on gen2 supporting 500hp. I Upgraded to gen2 after H1 install.

My next question is: my h1 build is producing 372 hp at 20 psi, to fully utilize any of these IC cores you would need max timing advance ( cams/sprockets) and a huge turbo setup running what, 30psi? So really any of these is more then enough for a supercharged solution...

I can't belive we don't have anyone on the forum using this cooler! I like the way it mounts on the left side. I guess the price is just too high for most guys. Tommy Jordan

I have it on my ski. It was easy to install and it's totally out of the way. I did several other mods at the same time so I don't have back to back results.
I did go 75.5 several times with stock boost, stock prop, and stock plate.
