Kawasaki 250x Top Speed
Hi, My Name Is Rauji And I Live In Panama... The Weather Is Allways Very Hot... Since I Bought My 250x I Made A Test With A Gps (garmin) And Gaved Me A Result Of 62.4 Miles With A Full Tank... I Was Very Disapointed With That Result ... Then I Bought The Free Flow Mod And Installed It And Made The Test Again And The Result Was The Same, The Only Differnce Is That I Felt A Better Response And A Bit More Torque But Same Top Speed! ... Then I Found An Impeller On The Net (a Solas 15/21) I´m Thinking About Buying It... Do You Think This Impeller Can Grant A Couple Of More Miles?

You better go back to the dealer and see whats wrong with your ski to start with, you should be running at least 65 mph or better bone stock with a full tank of gas.

my friend...in my humble oppinion first get the wedge of a ultra lx.....then do the ride plate mod..(3 mph) ...then if you want try the prop...if it slows you down than you might be able to send it to impros and they might be able to re pitch it for you.....hope this helps.....all the best P.T.P.

64mph on a full tank sounds exactly what I got too. Remember, his riding conditions may not be optimum.
You will see many, many post about 65mph Ultras.

Me And A Friend Bought 2 Kawa 250´s One Was Bought From The Us From Jetski Of Miami And The Other Was Bought Local And The Result Of Both Where The Same... So What Are The Odds That 2 Jetskis Of Two Friends Can Come With A Problem... By The Way, The Test Was Made In Full Tank An My Weight Is 200 Pounds... We Did Another Test With 1/3 Tank And The Result Was 64.5 Miles... But Still The Result Vas Very Disapointing Since I Read Most Of The Forum Comments And People Are Making 66+

He said 62.4 not 64 mph, mine was running 67.3 stock with a full tank of fuel, and got 68.1 mph with 3 bars of fuel left, now with the wedge and the exhaust Ive gotten the upper 69's consistently. But now I looked at the parts that melted on Skips, and mine is well on its way of melting down too.I will be seeing the dealer in the AM.

62.4 Full - 64 1/3 Or Less
YES INDEED... MY FIRST TEST GAVED ME A 62.4 MPH ON A FULL TANK... BUT THE SECOUND TEST WAS MADE WITH A 1/3 TANK AND THE RESULT WAS 64MPH THAT IS BELLOW OF ALL THAT I HAVE READ BEFORE... PEOPLE ARE MAKING 65+ ON FULL TANK AND 68+ ON AN EMPTY TANK...
I WAS THINKING THAT MAYBE BECAUSE OF THE HOT WEATHER HERE IN PANAMA, THE ENGINE DIDNT RUN AT ITS BEST PLUS THE MAXIMUM RPM THAT I ACHIEVED WAS 7450 RPM AN ACCORDING TO THE SPECS IT SHOULD MAKE 7750 RPM AT FULL THROTTLE. YOU GOT ME VERY CONCERNED WHEN YOU TOLD ME TO TAKE IT TO THE DEALER BUT AS I SED IN MY SECOUND POST... MY FRIEND ALSO BOUGHT ONE AND HE HAD THE SAME RESULTS.
NOTE: YOU GOT THE RESULT OF YOUR TOP SPEED BY GPS OR SPEEDMETER?
HOW MANY HOURS OF USE HAS YOUR 250X BEFORE THE SKIS STARTED MELTING
