It rained a lot here yesterday but the wind finally laid down. I stopped at Bull Island Outdoors here in Poquoson Va. and Picked up some more live eels. The owners Chris and Diana along with their young son, just opened the business this week and I wanted to check it out. It will be nice to have a place three minutes from my house that I can get bait and tackle at.

When I got back home and looked at the local radar I saw a window to go out in the Chesapeake Bay and look for some Cobia. So I dropped my ski in and ran out out to the middle of the Bay and fished along the Bouy lines with live eels.

I caught two shorties that maybe went 32-35 inches and lost a keeper that ran right for the buoy and broke off.

Shortly after that a couple more storms started forming so I ran back in after I saw lightning.

Here are a couple pics.

It is flat as glass right now so I will be heading out again soon!
