    Riva Sponson ry2616 installation help.

I just picked up a set of Used Riva Sponsons for my 1997 gp 760. I've got the old ones off and I'm trying to put the Rivas on but am a little confused about the rear mounting. I've looked on Rivas site but still not clear. I see the rectangular mounting that came off the factory sponson goes inside the cutout of the riva sponson but what goes through the top into the nut on the riva backing plate? The adjustment knobs thread don't reach and are to small. Am I missing a bolt? Hope this make sense. Please help.

You dont use the adjuster anymore, as the backing plate is now fixed.

So do I just have to pick up a stainless bolt to go through the backing plate and the rectangle piece?

Picked up a couple stainless bolts and put them on in a half hour. Thanks for the input. I put them all the way down in the back and up in the front. Once I get my new impeller to break free ill put the new grate and plate on and hopefully ill have what will seem like a new ski.

    Thanks again.
