    How bad is this?

I hit an underwater rock at about 10mph. How bad is this, am I SOL or is this repairable? I know Nano X-cell is expensive but what would be a ballpark estimate.

Thanks for your help in advance.

I pulled it off the water as soon as it happened. About what would be a ballpark estimate to have repaired?

1500-2k depending on your area and if your boat repair shop can work on Nano cell........will need West systems epoxy and a fairing material, then needs to be blended and repainted.......does not look too bad don't see a crack around the damage

Where are you located? Read somewhere about some guys in South Florida doing excellent Nanoxcel repairs. Search a bit and should come up. Hope it was insured.

There is a thread on here somewhere where these guys did it themselves with no experience what so ever. Cost them about 200. If you can follow instructions and hand sand you should be able to do it yourself. Not sure from your pic can't tell so well.

If there is no sign of a crack or it's not leaking then I wouldn't repair it, I have seen worse scratchs that didn't become a problem. From your pic yours doesn't look like it has cracked all the way through

I'm North of Dallas, I already found a repair shop that has done numerous Xcel repairs, going to go get an estimate Monday.

From the pics looks like the fibers are exposed and if ridden that way water will work its way in. The drag of the water can also make the damage worse. If it were me I wouldn't chance it. I would find a professional or so some research on how to properly repair the nanocel.
