remove the intake grate or the pump if its wedged in there too badly, and may as well be prepared to replace the wear ring too since its prob chewed up also

when on the trailer, crawl under with a flashlight and some kind of long stick. You should be able to see the prop.

16 inch long reach pliers set...just got mine last week. I hope I never need them. Harbor Freight...$12.99.

That's a good price. I paid $30 for a set of (3) at Auto-Zone. I found the one without the bend worked best. I wrapped it up and put it in the bag that my telescoping paddle is in and leave on the ski now. I also bought a blunt tipped SCUBA diving knife and put it in the glove box. Additionally, now have an old mask and snorkel in the cargo area. Within the first 7 hours on my ski I sucked up a tow rope and later debris after the hard rains. Fortunately I was able to resolve both myself after I got it back on the trailer. I could have fixed the rope issue had I had a good knife and a mask while still in the water. Live and learn.
