Anybody around Charlotte, NC with a GPRXP?

I am looking at possibly doing a gprxp build I just would like to see one in person or see actually what all you have to do since there is not really a set of blueprints to go by haha. I have a stage 2ish rxp now open loop cooling riva rear exhaust with some other odds and ends and can get a gp1200r hull. I do not really have alot of experience on working on skis but would like to do this. I am currently out of school for the summer so I have alot of time to work on it through the week. Do not have a welder I have seen some is needed for the conversion.

You can get almost everything you need from GH member Addicted(mounts, shaft, exhaust). You do need the do upgrades to the GPR hull to be safe. Take a look at all the builds on here should give you a good idea what you are getting into. Even if you have a complete RXP and GPR it will cost 2-4K+++ to do conversion depending on mods and if you want to do it right the first time.

keep in touch, I'll be heading up to charlotte pretty soon, I could bring my conversion with me if you want to take a look at it. Not sure yet when I will be going up that way, but it will be by the end of august for sure.

Shooter that would be awesome! I am starting to get the itch as well as the funds for the conversion. I have looked through many builds and starting to see how members have gone through the process. I do have a few questions as for the pump set ups. I want to use my seadoo pump but am unsure if I still need the conversion shaft as i would normal using the ho pump, I know there is an adapter plate that I need if I chose to do this also.
