    07 RXT boat sank What upgrades now?

    SO kids over heated it and melted some stuff and water got in

    What should i upgrade and replace?

    SC washers whats else? besides and oil

    How did they overheat it? What were they doing?

    If the ski is all stock, SC clutches right now...

    Where in Chicagoland are you?

    well sucked up some weeds and yea.....
    unaware of the clutches... melted the exhaust temps sensor and plastic muffler

    Looks like you'll need to replace the resonator,water temp sensor and if it were me the hose clamps too...while this is out,and seeing your key to this,you might as well have the Scer clutches checked and replaced if need be...Then seeing you are aware of the reason i would dis-assemble the complete exhaust system and flush it out thoroughly....Starting with the pump and working your way to the waterbox....This includes the intercooler and exhaust manifold also......

    If they got it that hot then doo some checks on the motor to see if its still good.
    Compression check and leak down check.
    If both are good then do the s/c clutches and bearings.
    Full rebuild on the s/c.
    I would make sure the motor is good 1st.
    I bought a 09 rxt that overheated and it had to be completely rebuilt including a new air intake system. It got so hot it warped a lot of things in the hull.

    If i'm going to change the oil is there some thing I should upgrade to over the RXT kit?
