Everyone on GH please help me with F12 Hull Mods.
Ok here I go. I need to confess since I got my ski in Marchthis year it’s become an addiction to be honest. I absolutely love the sport. It’s amazing to see all the guys with their super-fast GPSHO’s and GPRXP’s.I know with the 1200cc Honda motor you’ll have to spend a ton of money to get the HP of the 1500cc Rotax and 1800cc Yamaha engines. Everyone knows how slow the F12 hulls are so I’m going to mod my hull to the best of my abilities. This is where all the guys with the knowledge and experience come in. If you guys don’t mind on giving me some advice and tips to get a little more speed out of this hull. This is what I had in mind:
What it looks like now:
This is just a ruff sketch but this is what I had in mind:
Ultimately try to make it look like this.

looks like it should be fun. Cannot wait to see what you end up with and how it performs.

Someone did a hull mod on their ski here . they added a ridge to center of hull to keep it from being rounded .
Think I read it did way better in chop but cut top speed a few mph . I would think doing this "V" hull then angling ride plate more and maby a wedge with a smaller exit nozzle might do the trick . along those hull vents to get less surface contact . theirs a thread on here about all these mods

Pump loading/rpm's & pump itself.
Those are issues I see with the hull and pump/motor configuration of a F12. (X)
The hull you posted as to what your shooting for should make a big difference as the tunnel area is way more open to channeling and loading the pump.

I notice at medium speeds I can hear what sounds like rocks in a tin can/cavitation in the pump sometimes and turning, throwing the hull sideways makes it go away. Some say it's water hitting the sponsons but?? I think it could be small pockets of air forced under the centre of the hull and into the intake as a result of the rounded bottom. Thoughts?

Thanks for all the feedback guys. So what about the punp entry, should I make it narrower or leave it as it is?
