    MSX 150 Fuel Filter

I searched, but no good info. Anybody have a line on an alternate to the $31.00 Polaris fuel filter?

Problem for you it is an ozy site but if it is available here you will certainly have something over there.

I use a NAPA 3078 and put some quick disconnect fittings in the hose ends.

The one's that require the sleeve to push out the detents on the quick disconnects? Did you get those at Napa too?

The fittings I used are a NAPA part number 730-5617. They use little plastic retainers that usually come with a replacement fuel filter.Click image for larger version.

I got the Napa filter and they gave me some high pressure full circle hose clamps. Went to fire it up this spring and the hoses blew off. Anybody have a good hose clamp idea? Napa says the worm gear will leak as they do not fully wrap the fuel hose.

Wow... you blew the hose lines off the filter?? Did it pop at idle (43psi) or at full boost (~58psi)?

Those red fuel lines are pretty stiff... I can see them not conforming and clamping down on a normal fuel fitting nipple.

Wonder if you could heat them up (not with a flame... haha) a tad to soften them and help them better clamp/conform.

    Cheers!
