    Seadoo GTR Decal Problem

    I need some opinions. I purchased a 2013 GTR 215 yesterday. It has exactly 1 hour on it and has been used once. The decal job looks like shit that they did in the front, see pics. If they refuse to fix this what should I do? Do you think its worth complaining about? The drip marks are not water but look like glue and there is cracking in the front already. It appears the decals were installed incorrectly.

    i would get it fixed. looks pretty bad....

    They should have fixed that when they took it out of the crate or gave you another one...I would have or made the arraingments to have the decals ready for you when you bring it back in for the first service that way you dont have to wait while the stickers were ordered....But thats just what I would do

    Did you not just pay Bucu bucks $$$ .... demand the fix & a quick one. Do not leave ski until the decals are in stock & ready to install. Good Luck

    I am going to call them as soon as they open at 9 AM. I am going to ask him to take one from another crate, I refuse to wait. I am really ticked about this. Do they put the stickers on or do they come that way? What if they refuse to fix the problem?

    Why did you take delivery of it? I think too late to demand a different one.

    I did not notice it until after I took it in the water. The drip marks didnt show up until after I used it in the water. The service guy was rude and told me to stop telling him how unhappy I am blah blah, he is going to check and see if they have a panel with the same decal. I am assuming that that decal is on a panel and not on the hull itself. So I am waiting for him to call me back.

    time to find a better dealer. Once you roll off the lot with it, you are NOT going to be issued another one.

    This dealer doesn't seem to value your business.

    Those drips are horrible. That sucks dude...friggin dealer had better make it right for you. After seeing yours I had to go take a close look at mine. No dripping and a smoother seam but it's actually still not the greatest fit and finish for an $11,000+ toy. *sigh*

    hate to say it folks, but the 2012's were the last skis built in Quebec(I'm sure they were all happy about being 'retired');
    the 2013s are built in Mexico.
    I'm sure there is QC in place, but...
    It's still a Sea-Doo, don't get me wrong - I'd still buy one.
