    4-tec bolt replacement

    Starting a rebuild on a 4tec and would like to know what bolts should or have to be replaced such as flywheel bolts, rod bolts ect.

    Flywheel, Mains, and rocker shaft bolts go Seadoo genuine. Head bolds change to ARP stud kit if the budget will allow. Also good to replace the cam sprocket 3 retaining grub screws.

    arp imo you will get different opinions but i run them in both my skis and they are far superior than oem as far as material

    Mike the arps don't allow as much oil flow as the oem since they have a larger flange/washer. Of course I find that out after I ordered arps today

    Absolutely no reason to run studs unless you are building a real high output engine. The OEM stretch bolts are far superior to studs for a stock engine.
