Checking SC Slip
What's the best way to check SC slip. I see everybody posting that they remove there charger to check this. Can't you just install the cam locking tool and check the slip with SC installed on the motor?

Yes, but you can have the sc out and on a vice in less then 20 minutes.

and if the slip needs adjustment you will still need to take it out
once you've done it its not that big of a job

Another way to prevent the motor from turning is by putting a wood broom stick into the jet pump.

How many hours after a rebuild by Jerry do you need to check the slip?
