Supercharger washers (not the ones on the clutch)
I was swapping my 09 px sc on my buddies 07 rxp. When I removed his sc, there was a washer between the sc body and the block, like the sc was shimmed out. I have never seen this before. Do I need to replace them, (re-use them) or does the new 09 not need them? I am kinda confused on why you would need to shim the sc gear out.
any help would be greatly appreciated, and as always, thank you, you guys are awesome!

Seems like if it were shimed the charger wouldn't mate up at the three bolt points! WTF, never seen or heard of a shimed charger.....

When updating the shaft kit on older chargers (red ones), they include 3 washers to go between the S/C and PTO cover. I dont understand why they would use them unless its an early model S/C w/updated shaft kit.

So regaurdless, it seems like I should ditch them with the 09 charger on the 07 motor. It really didn't make sense to me in the first place, the charger went in fine, and it didn't seem like the the sc was bottoming out on the shaft or anything.
Thanks for the replies, I feel a lot more confident with it now.

From what I heard, they were only used on the 03' 185 hp charged skis. Not necessary for 215 or bigger chargers.
