    Circumnavigating Lake Superior

Someof you I have not been in contact with for awhile, while others have beenfollowing my plans to circumnavigate Lake Superior this year. Here is thelatest.

Thistrip will be about 1,300 miles and take about 10 days. I will betraveling with another friend of mine from South Dakota. We plan todepart Duluth, MN on Monday, July 22 and head north along the North Shore ofMinnesota. We will then enter Canada where we expect it to take 3-4 daysto travers their shore line before returning back to the United State bycrossing White Fish Bay in to Michigan. Why does White Fish Bay soundfamiliar? For some of you younger people you can Google GordonLightfoot-The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.

Wethen travel through Michigan to Wisconsin and then back to Minnesota. Ifyou are interested in following this adventure you can follow the Facebook Linklisted below. When we are with in cell phone range I will update theFacebook page with pictures and notes.

Ifyou want to know where we are each day, you can following the SPOT link. SPOT is an emergency beacon with tracking capability. This link will become active on Monday, July 22.

You should encounter some beautiful scenery. Take care and here's hoping for calm waters.
