    flywheels

I was under the impression that the Riva aluminum flywheel was better than the RAD. I have a rad that came with my GP12 and it's shot. seems to be a common problem. The riva is the exact same thing. what gives?

in the manufacturing world we call it private labeling. Riva sells lots of stuff beyond the services they provide which they do themselves they make nothing everything is made for them. It is a common practice in many businesses

I thought the riva was supposed to be better. I know that most of riva's stuff is just there name +100% cost on other peoples parts. I didn't realize that the flywheel was a rebranded RAD.

So, is this also a ticking time bomb?

Their cranks were coming from Crankworks, plates and grates from R&D, lots of stuff from Hot products. Heck my Yamaha Billet Gas cap is from UMI exactly the same except the name.

Here is my brand new RAD Aluminum flywheel (that I bought off Evilbay for $80) for a visual comparison.
