    who has your SS number?

Social security numbers are a private thing even though many are used as ID numbers for schools, accounts etc...
BUT who in your family would you give yours to?
Would you give your SS number to your twenty something son or daughter? who lives out of state? who goes to college?...PR...

Without getting into details, my sister did some bad things with my parents SS numbers. She is lucky I did not kill her and dump her body in a river. So I would say no....

nah! other way around, it`s a long story, daughter lost SS card in a fire when they were young, never thought to replace until now, I`m told.
I know the X wife has my SS, so that`s how maybe my daughter in college didn`t call back to get it ... I`ll know if suddenly I`m the owner or co signer of something ...PR...

same here.... i have my parents SS numbers. i need to use them very often for certain things with bills and school loans and whatever else. if i need it, then i need it. why else would i ask for it if i didn't absolutely need it for something?

that's how my brothers and parents are tho... we could call each other at any given time and ask for a credit card number, a SS #, etc... we've never let one another down in something important and trust has never been questioned or betrayed.

The only time I use my parents numbers is when I either pay my school loans (in their name) or when I have to pretend to be my father after my mother shoves the phone in my face and says "you're him"...

I've got my parent's as well, as do they mine (obviously).

I even remember my high school girlfriend's because the only difference between hers and mine was the last 4 numbers.

Good thing I'm a good person. I wonder if she'd do the same if she had mine...................................

You never know who has what. A few weeks ago I went on line to pay my Cabela's Visa card. There were three charges I did not make, one for $499.00, another for $7.98 and another on Paypal for $39.95. I called and shut down the card and reported the false charges. I then called the phone number next to the largest charge and it was a company that handles payments for transaction. They credited my account the next day. I called PayPal and they had already red flag the account that was opened with my card. My card was a secondary payment on my account and their computer pick up on the card number that someone used to open another account. I have already received the legal papers, signed and return. They do go after them. The question I will always have is where did my number get pulled?
