    SL 650 quick trim system

    Hi,
I am a newbie and just bought a 1993 SL 650 in its original state (no modification has been done to it as far as I can see, not even recommended modifications from services bulletins). I bought it from a marine engine specialist that had it maintained over the years. I ran it with a passenger behind me and the ski started to bounce up and down as I tried to increase speed. I red in the service manual that the quick trim system has to be adjusted. I don't see any adjustment features as illustrated in the manual. It seems to be locked in the middle position. Is there any way to change that?
    Thanks

Well, if it is a 1993 650, it has been modified. They did not come with trim. So if yours does, it was added. If it's a 750, that's another story. Those did come with trim.

Sorry to say, but 2 people riding on the 2 seater does porpoise pretty badly. There are a couple things you can do to improve it, but will never be ever to get rid of it completely. Ocean Pro ride plate, R&D intake grate, and OEM style sponsons helped a lot for mine

Thanks for your suggestions. No it has no trim system. I was hoping that it could be possible somehow to adjust the turbine outlet with a downward angle.
    Regards

You can install a 2* pump wedge up-side down. But you're most likely going to lose top speed. And you might need longer pump bolts as well. Much better off doing the mods I suggested previously.
