seadoo xp 787 no power to starter solenoid , possible mpeg failure???
Hi , wonder if anyone can help with my problem.
I have a 96 xp and when I add the dess key I get 2 beeps but when I push the starter button I get nothing, also without the dess key connected I get no life.
Is got a new battery and a new starter, I have moved the black earth to a better location and I've cleaned all the earth posts and plugs.
Here's what I checked , the start button is ok , there is power going to the start button. There's power getting to the mpem but there no power going to the starter solenoid on the yellow wire. If I cross the terminals in the black box by the solenoid the starter turns over and if I supply power to the yellow solenoid wire by the mpem it turns over, there's just noting otherwise.
All my gauges work , my vts works , my dess bleeps, I can't think of anymore apart from a blown mpem....
Any help would be really appreciated ...
