Help Mods list review & Air intake advice needed for 2010 RXP X 255

    Hi all,

Just wanted to run this list of mods through the forum before ordering and yes the list does contain a few mods to minimize on common breakdowns and increase efficiency.

I am looking for an intake similar to the Seadoo RXT-X 260 Power Filter Kit that would truly draw in cold air directly to the supercharger and not air from the engine bay but not even sure if this model would fit on my ski????

    I've found the following:

Sea Doo RXP-X/RXP High Flow Hood Kit but it seems like no one has them in stock for some strange reason unless they don't manufacture them anymore???

If I do get a hold of it how far does the tube extend from the hood directly to the supercharger?

Fizzle 4" air intake kit but don't know if it connects to the front section of the hull (bucket area) which is much cooler than the engine bay area of the hull.

Which ever one I decide on would I need to install an O2 Sensor Mount kit?

Yes I am aware that I would have to mod the ECU but will concentrate on that on it's own after I sort this list out.

Lookin forward to inputs cuz I wanna get this small project rollin'!!!!

That Riva air intake you have pictured came out for the 2004 RXPs. I think Riva dropped it when they came out with the rear air kit for RXP around mid 2005. Jerry had one on his 2004 RXP boat. Maybe he still has it on the shelf and might sell it. Anytime you put a filter on your air intake you will lose 50 to 80 RPM. It's very simple to make a rear air kit for your boat. None of the mods you show in your post will require an O2 sensor. If you install a rear air kit you might want to go up one size injectors.
