Just joined the GTR Team
After owning a 1996 XP for the last 16 years, it was time to get a machine that was more friendly to my rear end and for taking out my daughters for a ride. Picked it up yesterday and was able to put 3 hours on it on a very rough Lake Huron today. I went to the lake with a full take of fuel and after 3 hours the fuel warning started beeping. So I have a few questions.
1. I filled the ski back up on my way home from the lake and it only took 39 liters of fuel. Therefore, if it is a 60 liter tank, I still had a third of a tank of fuel left over. Why is the fuel warning coming on?
2. Where do I find a strap to strap down the emergency gear bucket?
3. What are you keeping with you for a hose pincher in case you need to be towed?
4. Are there any aftermarket seat covers available yet? I scanned the regular companies and didn't see any.
I had a great time today taking in the experience on this new ski. I have been riding for 23 years, owning everything from an SP, to a 650sx, to an HX, to a STX-15F but this is the first brand new ski I have purchased. I can't wait to get it in the flat water and open it up. Due to the rough water today, I managed to see a 57mph a couple of times and 60 mph once. I was busy keeping my eye on the oncoming waves when I had it pinned. I did like the eco mode since I could hold the throttle tight to the grips and hold on while attacking the waves instead of having to feather the throttle. Planning on taking Friday off work to put some more hours on it.

Yes the fuel alarm goes off when you have around 40% fuel remaining.
I think that's too early but I'd hate for it too be to late..

It gave me the warning buzzer three times. Am I able to turn the buzzer off?
