Bass Pro Shops - haggle ?

Anyone ever bought a new boat from bass pro shops?

my dad wants to buy a pontoon boat package they sell and he was curious if they "haggle"

I have gotten tired of telling him to spend the time and find a good used one.

We went by there at lunch yesterday together, didnt talk to a salesman, but I didnt know if they were like Carmax, where you pay the sticker, or if theres some rooom for negotiating?

If it is a "no haggle" dealership bro, go elsewhere. You will definately save some money on another stealership.

thats what I was figuring, but thanks for the heads up.

I keep trying to tell him to look used and at worst case by a new motor.. dont know why he wants a pontoon boat, but you know how retired folks get

It should be fairly easy to maintain and ride a pontoon boat. I would also get a used one just because of the fact that when he takes the boat out of the dealers property it already lost over $2k in value.....Which sucks!
