    Rossier Pipe for 96xp?

Will putting a rossier pipe in my 96xp make things more difficult? As in, more tuning, paying attention to detail etc?

I'm just trying to find the pros and cons. I read a lot of pros. Better performance, little more speed, little better response etc. I would like to put one in my machine if they are not a lot of work. I know nothing about adjusting my carbs and all that.

Basically, what I'm asking, can I JUST put a rossier pipe in and install it and be done with it? Or do I need to adjust other things as well? Thanks!

Nope, you've had the carbs out once. All you need is a little flat head screw driver to back them out. After that its tuning and that's the hard part. A rosier is a safe pipe... What ever you do stay away from a Factory Pipe spec 2. They like to eat pistons

May as well get some Flame arrestors while your at it. A rossier jet kit uses 2.0s. 95 gram springs, 1.5 out on Lows, 75pilots, 142.5 pto 140 mag and 1.5 out on the HSs this is using their pipe and flame arrestors. Some dude posted this on another forum.

You would have to run a hard water jetting set up for their pipe i think.....

Yuuuup!!! Its the good ole R&D power plenum. You should find out what kind of jetting your running. The pop off should be lowered with 2.0 needle seats. Unless your riding at high elevation. Or at least 75 or 80 pilots

    Yes, that's a FA.
I had that same FA on my 97spx. The performance was good but I didnt like that mine didnt have a bracket that attaches to the pipe.
-that is a lot of unsprung weight at the top of the carbs that flexes (can break) at the rotory valve cover.

pic of stock SS bracket on the pipe.
